Cleuza dos Santos de Pina
Early life
​
Born 7th may 1991 in Santa Cruz (Cabo verde) and moved to the Netherlands in 1995. Fascinated by her new surroundings she started drawing still-life and portraits at age 9. Her passion for fashion started growing at age 15 while spending some time in the south of France experimenting with fabrics.

At age 25 she graduated from Tailoring and Fashion design school. After giving birth to her son she became inspired and was determined to start her own company as a future reminder for him to always follow his dreams. “The biggest gift I can pass on to my son, is the belief that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. I want to be that example for him”.

I create parts of myself

Creating Art is to me something therapeutic, a way of better understanding and dealing with life. It is my way to reveal emotions I can't yet explain, but through my artwork I learn to face them . When starting an art-piece I never know what it will be, I simply allow my heart to speak and my eyes to be surprised.

Dreamers .... dream

I have always dreamed of spending my life creating art and using my art-work as an inspiration to design my own clothes. Today my dream is a message that I want to share with those who are hungry to learn more about themselves and about life.
